Shipping Policy – Mostly Chocolate

Shipping Policy

We care about quality. To ensure our handcrafted chocolates remain in pristine condition, our shipping methods are important to us. We want our chocolates to get to their destination safely, so they are as perfect to eat as when you purchase directly from the store. Our shipping policy is outlined below.

Processing Orders

All orders placed by 6:00pm CST will be processed within one business day. Any orders placed after 3:00pm Wednesday CST will be shipped the following Monday, as we only ship Monday-Wednesday to maintain the highest quality of our chocolates. All orders, whether a shipment or in-store pickup, will receive an order confirmation via email. Upon item shipment, each order will receive a tracking number via email.

Upon placing your order, we will have your order available within 1-3 hours at our store location 1050 N Post Oak STE 220, Houston, TX 77055. Shipping During Warm Months

Shipping out from our Houston, Texas location is extremely challenging starting from the end of March to early October.  To help prevent our chocolates from melting, please allow an additional 24 hours to properly chill your package before it leaves our facility during the warm shipping months.  If your chocolates still arrive melted, please send a photo to info@mostlyhtx.com

It is extremely important that if there is not someone home to receive the package, that you send it to your workplace or make every effort to notify the recipient that a package will be arriving so that it does not sit out in warm weather.

In cases of extreme heat during these months, we will temporarily stop shipping as our chocolates will not survive in those weather conditions.

Once the package has left our hands, we cannot assume responsibility for the following:

  • Delays caused by the shipping company
  • Damage or theft of packages after the package has been delivered to the specified address
  • Returned or delayed packages due to an incorrect or undeliverable shipping address
  • Packages left unattended outside in warm weather

Holiday Shipping

We do not ship:

  • New Years Eve
  • New Years Day
  • Rosh Hashanah
  • Yom Kippur
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day

To ensure successful Christmas delivery to your clients, please have your orders placed no later than Tuesday, December 18.
