It is our mission to provide each client with an unforgettable experience, whether you are stopping by the store for a box of handcrafted bonbons and truffles or hosting a special private event.
Meet Dany Kamkhagi, Head Chocolatier
Dany Kamkhagi joined the team in 2011. His endless drive and passion for creativity, quality, and service has allowed Mostly Chocolate & Catering to further expand its customer base. After various internships studying under renowned master chocolatiers in New York, Dany became head chocolatier in 2015. Since then, he’s gone on to win various prestigious national and international awards.
Notable honors include: Three Dessert Grand Champion Buckle awards at the HLSR Best Bites competition for the Goat Cheese truffle, Tequila 2.0, and Hazelnut & Poprocks, a First Place Gold finish in the International Chocolate Awards America’s Competition, and a Second Place Silver finish in the Internationals Chocolate Awards World’s Competition.
Meet Rina Kamkhagi, Head Chef
Rina, Dany's mother, has a passion for cooking which began when she was just a child. Growing up in Lebanon, Rina was taught by her mother to create delectable Lebanese dishes and pastries. From working closely with her mother, her love for cooking and food flourished. As she got older, Rina realized her passion and natural talent for cooking was more than just a hobby when she crafted a pistachio-filled chocolate pastry to serve over Thanksgiving. Her friends were astounded by the delicate texture and full flavor of her pastry, and she was convinced to replicate the pastry for a friend's wedding. Inspired to sharpen her craft, Rina completed specialty courses with local Houston chef and chocolatier, Ana Gomes and then went on to attend The Chocolate Academy in Sainte Hyacinthe, in Montreal, Quebec, with world-renowned chocolatier Christophe Morel.
Rina is all about the personal touch. She puts her heart into every event she caters for, whether she's creating dessert tables or doing full-service catering, she strives to make your special event as memorable as possible.
